Re: Something bit different: Possessed

Thanks :) ... Yes, the mix is almost mono, except of the reverbs and some panning delays. Diva made a good job this time without noise bursts. Instead the noise bursts came from Anneliese  . I struggled a lot to get the bass and and pad right and almost gave up an hour ago.Still not perfect...

Something bit different: Possessed

Just finished with this (mix sounds good to my ears but there can be still some improvement in the low end I guess). I wanted to use less samples, instead I used more :? Now it's time for a new one, if someone has good suggestions I will do a remix when I can listen to it again :) . https://soundclo...

Re: The Incontinentals - "Brandy"

Not my music, but that's very well done and I like the down to earth feeling of that song. I immediately feel like I'm sitting somewhere in the States in a bar and having a bear or two (or three and then looking urgently for the next toilette)

btw: Is this your studio??

Hmm.. or is the time signature just changing your grid? Maybe someone familiar with LMMS can help?

Re: Time signature in LMMS

Of course there is no audible difference. I thought that maybe the first beat of the metronome has a different tone, like

click tok tok tok click tok tok tok for a 4/4 bar instead of

click tok tok click tok tok for a 3/4 bar

Or what do you mean the audible effect?

Re: Standard test needed to benchmark XRUNs

Really strange: Sometimes I get xruns at already 20% and then 10 times or so at 98% again. Can pulseaudio which is running via the jack bridge cause such xruns at very low DSP loads? During the first test where the first xrun happend at 25% pulse was running. marco@fox:~/src$ ./xruncounter Samplerat...

Re: rate my xruns: tuning assistance?

Did you test if the results below a reproducible? Sometimes I get the first xruns at 20% and sometimes at 98%. I don't know the reason yet for this. Well, there's probably still room for improvement, since I'm not regularly cracking 10,000 circles. But I'm still very pleased with the improvement I'v...

I don't know for version 1.0.0, maybe this helps? Why are you still using 1.0.0??

Re: Time signature in LMMS

It will change the time signature

https://lmms.io/documentation/Tool_Bar# ... e_Controls

When you turn on the metronom you should hear the difference.

Looks good, i will give the demo version a try.
I can't use the KXstudio LV2 version in Carla as I get bursts of noise when opening the plugin.

Can you test it with e.g. a live AVLinux? Never heard of such an issue, but I guess there's a solution for it.
