Thanks for listening! I was worried on the mix quality, but it's good to hear you like the sound.

Re: U-Turn

Very nice track, I love the vocals on it. It was also very inspiring to read your story on it, and to listen to the original recording.

Re: Grayed In [motile ambience from VCV Rack]

This is really cool, kind of sounds like menu/idle BGM for a game. Also, thanks for introducing VCV Rack. I think it's really interesting, although it seems pretty daunting to come up with a patch such as the one you used for this. Good stuff.

I don't often listen to things this light-hearted, but I really enjoyed it. I'm also loving that cover art.

Frozen Sky (Rock Instrumental)

Hello everybody, I released a single a few days ago called Frozen Sky. I was hoping I could get some comments and feedback, especially on mixing, which I have little experience with. You can check it out on Youtube or Bandcamp (it's free for lossless download on the latter). https://www.youtube.com/...

Re: The Silent House

This was a really unique listen. I liked your use of the tremolo bar as well on guitar. And that chord progression two thirds into the song was great.

[...] I'd love to hear about some good open software [...] Welcome! :) Linux Music specifically I like Qtractor very much as a DAW. Thanks for the suggestion. I have tried Qtractor quite a while ago, but I found it a bit hard to learn. I should probably give it another try though, as I've heard it'...

Re: I miss you (already)

That's a very good track. I also relistened to remix with just the bass and acoustic guitar on Wikiloops, that was quite relaxing. I hadn't heard of that site before. So you and the drummer both played off of the acoustic guitar and vocals, individually? Anyways, it was a nice song, well done.

While I don't have the problem mentioned in this thread, could I get some elaboration on why 48kHz would be preferred over 44.1kHz? Is this still the case when working on a project in 44.1kHz?

Greetings from a Linux user and guitarist

Hello everybody, I've been playing music and using Linux for a while now, yet only recently found out about this place. It looks like there's a lot of knowledgeable people here, so I think there's a lot I can learn on here. I primarily play guitar (guitarix is great), but I've recently been playing ...
